Alekstra is expanding quickly and need to make significant additions to our team in Finland to support this growth. We are looking for a proven team-player to join the Production team who can assume the following role:
Description of Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for system engineering tasks associated with telecommunications expense analysis. The candidate will work within the systems development team to implement (and in some cases develop) algorithms related to telecommunication expense analysis. Job responsibilities include: create concepts, generate system requirements, create architectures, perform simulation and analysis, and solve system level problems during the development and production stages of the analysis. The candidate will report directly to the Head of Production in a results-focused and highly motivated team.Job Requirements
• Mathematics / statistics background and experience in algorithmic development• Strong analytical skills ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to calculate and analyze data, generate reports, present information, etc.
• Knowledge of visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation
• Understanding of business intelligence measurement, testing and relational databases
• High degree of comprehension and judgment for effective problem solving
• Motivated, self-starter who can think on their feet
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. You must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment – including both internal and external customers
• Experience in dealing with external customers is an advantage
• Telecommunications/wireless industry experience is an advantage
• Ability to work extended/flexible hours and travel occasionally
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Finland
